LASIK is the original version of Laser Vision Correctio in which a flap is created and then the cornea is reshaped with the use of an excismer laser. Over the last 15 years, we have seen amazing results with LASIK. Currently, we recommend that all patients have InraLASIK if it is within their budget. It is safer, more acurate, and allows for faster recovery times Standard Custom LASIK. Regardless, LASIK is still considered to be a great procedure.
