Anterior Segment Fellowship

History:

• The CODET Vision Institute Fellowship was launched in 1994. To date, 31 Fellows have graduated from our program.

 
Working Areas:

• Clinic: Subspecialty Consultation at our Foundation and Private Practice. Emphasis is on Refractive Surgery, Cataract, Intraocular Lenses and Cornea.
• Surgery: Every 12 months there are about 500 surgeries for cataracts/IOLs, 200 excimer/femtosecond, 100 cornea/surface/pterygium.
• Education: A theoretical weekly session and another weekly analytical session of recent articles in the literature.
• Investigation: Participation in different studies specific to the Institution, as well as the Industry. Participation in the publication of scientific articles in leading journals peer-reviewed journals.

Equipment:

• At CODET we have the most modern diagnostic equipment refractive, topographic, corneal, compared deonda, OCT's, ultrasound, excimer laser, femtosecond laser, microscopes, phacoemulsification machines, etc available.  This allows for optimal learning to all of our fellows.
