Cornea and Refractive Surgery

Dr. Pinkus graduated from Medical School with honors from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and she obtained the CENEVAL Award for Excellence Performance. Afterwards, she did her residency in Ophthalmology at Instituto de Oftalmología Conde de Valenciana in Mexico City, endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She did her fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases and Refractive Surgery in the same Institute endorsed by the UNAM. She also has a Master's Degree in Medical Sciences, endorsed by the Posgraduate Unit of the UNAM, obtaining the Masters´ degree with honors. 

She subsequently did an International Fellowship in the United States in the city of Indianapolis, focused on endothelial corneal transplantation with the prestigious Dr. Francis Price, expert in endothelial corneal transplantation at Price Vision Group as well as the Cornea Research Foundation of America and VisionFirst Indiana Lions Eye Bank.

Dr. Pinkus has participated in multiple national and international meetings as an organizer, assistant and speaker in order to promote learning and being up to date in the management of eye diseases to provide the best care for our patients.
