Glaucoma Updates in Baja California

Ophthalmology College of Baja California, Monthly Session

Course: Neovascular Glaucoma

Mexicali, BC. Araiza Hotel. Saturday, March 25, 2017.

Every month, ophthalmologists from the Ophthalmology College of Baja California meet at different venues in Baja California to share clinical and surgical experiences and provide updates on various topics in the field.

The meeting this past March focused on Glaucoma, specifically new techniques designed to treat ocular diseases where diabetes affects the eye and vision.

During this session, physicians from Mexico City were invited from prestigious hospitals such as the Association to Prevent Blindness (APEC) and the Hospital de Nuestra Señora de la Luz.

Dr. Marina Ramírez Alfaro, Glaucoma Department Head at CODET Vision Institute, together with the College's President Dr. Rene Cervantes, Retina specialist from CODET Vision Institute, led the roundtable discussion.

Additionally, Dr. Gabriela Avila Mendoza, CODET Vision Institute Glaucoma specialist and Fundacion CODET Medical Director, was welcomed as a new member of the Ophthalmology College of BC.

Congratulations to all of these accomplished CODET Vision Institute specialists for yet another series of academic and professional accomplishments!
