LASIK is the common term used to describe Laser Vision Correction. LASIK uses an excimer laser to reshape the cornea, in order to eliminate myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, or presbyopia. At CODET, we perform only 3 types of LASIK.
At CODET, we performed the 1st LASIK procedure on the western half of the North American continent and the second procedure on the entire North American continent in 1994. Additionally, Dr. Chayet invented IntraLASIK. Please browse through the rest of the LASIK section to learn more.
