Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)

Procedure

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) is a surgical procedure that can change the way you perceive the world. It accomplishes this by replacing your natural lens with an Intraocular Lens (IOL), liberating you from the need for glasses or contact lenses and allowing you to fully enjoy life.

An Overview: Refractive Lens Exchange

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) is a groundbreaking vision correction procedure offered at CODET Vision Institute. RLE involves the removal of the eye’s natural lens and its replacement with an Intraocular Lens (IOL). This IOL is carefully selected to correct common vision issues such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, or presbyopia.

As individuals age, their natural lenses may become less flexible and develop conditions like presbyopia or near vision issues. RLE effectively addresses these concerns by replacing the natural lens, resulting in improved vision and, in many cases, reducing or even eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses.

No matter if you’re nearsighted, farsighted, or experiencing presbyopia, RLE can provide a customized solution to fulfill your visual needs. With the selection of the most appropriate intraocular lens, our highly skilled surgeons ensure that your vision is optimized following the surgery.

Premium IOLs

The effectiveness of the RLE procedure is greatly influenced by the choice of intraocular lens (IOL). At CODET, we offer a wide selection of premium IOLs, each designed to target specific vision needs. Your surgeon will work closely with you to determine the IOL that aligns best with your vision goals and lifestyle.
