Ophthalmologists Culminate Their Fellowship at CODET

CODET Vision Institute celebrates the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 Fellowship Program graduates.

On March 24, 2023, CODET Vision Institute celebrated the graduation of our 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 Fellowship program participants. This program offers ophthalmologists around the world the opportunity to earn a subspecialty degree while training in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside leading eye care experts.

A Celebration of Achievements

The ceremony opened with Dr. Arturo Chayet, Medical Director, giving an emotional speech to the graduates, congratulating them on their achievements, and providing his continued support in this next phase of their careers.

The graduates celebrated alongside their mentors, family, and friends, and each one spoke a few words upon receiving their title from CODET Vision Institute and Fundación +LUZ.

There was no shortage of tears and hugs as the celebration drew to a close, as some fellows left the city immediately after the ceremony to return home.

The celebration concluded with words from Dr. Chayet, who wished the graduates much success. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a dinner together to celebrate their achievement and spend some final quality time with their colleagues and friends.

Congratulations to all of our new fellows for achieving this remarkable goal!
