The participation of CODET Vision Institute stood out for the innovative presentations of research work carried Attending Physicians and Fellows.
CODET Vision Institute was present at the distinguished Annual Congress of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), held from April 4th to 8th in the city of Boston, Massachusetts.
Among the attendees at the congress were Dr. Arturo Chayet, Medical Director of CODET, Dr. Erik Navas, Co-Director of Cornea, and Dr. Gabriela Ávila, Director of the Glaucoma Service, as well as Fellows from the institute’s Fellowship program.

The participation of CODET Vision Institute stood out for the innovative presentations of research work carried out by Attending Physicians and Fellows. Among the topics addressed are analysis of refractive results in intraocular lens surgery, results of patients undergoing surgeries for Pterygium + Cataract using light-adjustable lens, and analysis of accuracy in predictive formulas in laser refractive surgery, where a correction formula was developed to enhance result prediction accuracy. Additionally, Dr. Gabriela Ávila’s presentation on Contrast Sensitivity and Glasses Independence in Glaucoma patients using trifocal intraocular lenses was highlighted.
