Dr. Francis W. Price Presents on Endothelial Keratoplasty

Our last live webinar took place on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. On this occasion, we were honored to have as a guest professor Dr. Francis W. Price Jr., founder and president of Price Vision Group and the Cornea Research Foundation of America, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Dr. Price has also been awarded the Life Achievement Honor Award of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Barraquer Award of the International Society of Refractive Surgery.

The session began with a brief welcome message from Dr. Arturo Chayet and a brief introduction by our Co-Director to the Cornea Service at CODET Vision Institute and moderator of this session, Dr. Denisse Pinkus. Our guest professor, Dr. Price, then spoke about the Evolution of Endothelial Keratoplasty and Clinical Pearls and touched on some important topics about endothelial keratoplasty of the membrane of Descemet (DM).

Our Cornea Fellow, Dr. Melesio Palazuelos, then presented a fascinating clinical case related to this topic and the session concluded with a Q&A session with Dr. Price.
