CODET Vision Institute was present at the Facocaribe Congress

CODET Vision Institute was present at the Facocaribe congress, held from March 7th to 9th in Barranquilla, Colombia. Dr. Erik Navas, Attending Physician at CODET specializing in Refractive Surgery, Anterior Segment Surgery and Cornea, was responsible for presenting the development of the “5 Star Surgeons” software.
Facocaribe is a biennial internationally renowned event organized by the Caribe Ophthalmological Clinic, bringing together experts from around the world to share experiences, knowledge, and the latest trends in ophthalmology, from cataract surgery to artificial intelligence in modern ophthalmology.
During his presentation, Dr. Navas explained the development of the “5 Star Surgeons” software, designed to measure refractive outcomes in intraocular lens surgery. Additionally, he presented the refractive results obtained by CODET with monofocal and multifocal lenses.
