Promoting Tijuana as a Premier Destination for Medical Tourism

CODET Vision Institute proudly participated in the “Discover Tijuana” event, held at the Mexican Consulate in San Bernardino, California, aimed at positioning Tijuana, Baja California, as a safe, accessible, and high-quality destination for medical tourism. Organized with great success by the Tijuana Tourism and Conventions Committee (COTUCO), in coordination with the Consulate General of Mexico in San Bernardino and with the support of the local tourism value chain, the event showcased the many strengths of our region in front of business leaders and association representatives from the U.S.

This initiative is part of COTUCO’s ongoing strategies to attract more international tourism and strengthen relationships with Mexican consulates across the United States, with the goal of positioning Tijuana as a leading tourism destination across multiple sectors—including healthcare.

Additionally, efforts are underway to expand outreach to the Canadian market, reinforcing Tijuana’s growing international reputation in health and wellness tourism.
