Click on the this link to watch a news report on a new study showing that myopia has increased in the last few decades as a result of new technology such as computers, cell phones, and video games.
Here at CODET Vision Institute, we have a formula that can help you offset the potential onset of myopia when using these technologies.
For each 20 minutes of work or activities that you engage in which requires the use of your near vision, reading, computer-use, cell-phone-use, video-game-use etc., you should rest for 20 seconds by looking at an object at least 20 feet in the distance. This will relax the muscles inside of your eye, which if done consistently, will help offset the onset of myopia.
