CODET Doctors Share their Knowledge at ASCRS Annual Meeting 2018

Dr. Arturo Chayet, Dr. and Gabriela Avila attended to keep themselves updated and share their experiences.

Since 1974, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) is one of the main sources of clinical updates, research publications and all kinds of information related to ophthalmology. It is an international society with more than 9,000 members whose mission is to improve the art and science of ophthalmic surgery.

ASCRS organizes an annual meeting in the United States where all the ophthalmologist members meet for five days to share and learn from the experiences of the doctors who have the privilege of being speakers about a topic regarding technological and/or medical innovation that represents important contributions in subjects such as cataracts, refractive surgery, near vision, cornea, dry eye, and glaucoma.

In the 2018 edition of this meeting that took place in Washington DC from April 13th to the 17th, doctors from CODET, always at the forefront, Dr. Arturo Chayet and Dr. Gabriela Ávila, attended to keep themselves updated and share their experiences with members of the organization.

On Cornea Day, Dr. Arturo Chayet participated in the New Dry Eye Treatments Panel with his topic Neurostimulation to improve the signs and symptoms of Dry Eye Syndrome, making it known his experience and results with the intranasal device True Tear, a new technology for Dry Eye treatment.

On Sunday, the Run For Sight race was organized in which ophthalmologists participated in sport activities and medals were awarded to the first places.

CODET Vision Institute is always concerned about being updated and at the forefront of the most innovative technology and treatments for visual health care.
