Dr. Edith Eger shares her wisdom and inspiring story with CODET

Dr. Eger lived through the horror of the Holocaust first-hand. She spent almost a year and a half in the extermination camp when she was only a teenager. However, this horrifying experience hasn't stopped her from writing a wonderful story about overcoming adversity.

Dr. Edith Eger is a Holocaust survivor, having been imprisoned at the concentration camp Auschwitz, whose personal experience and career as a psychologist has allowed her to help thousands of people who live hindered by their emotional scars.

Dr. Eger lived through the horror of the Holocaust first-hand. She spent almost a year and a half in the extermination camp when she was only a teenager. However, this horrifying experience hasn’t stopped her from writing a wonderful story about overcoming adversity. “The Choice”, based on real life events, offers us the keys to confront our traumas, as well as the problems and insecurities we live with everyday.

One of the lessons that Dr. Eger’s book teaches us is that “the biggest prison of all is in our mind.”

After dozens of CODET employees were gifted the marvelous book by CODET Vision Institute, the entire CODET team witnessed an inspiring talk with Dr. Eger, who has changed the lives of so many. Dr. Eger’s talk dealt with several topics such as life lessons, experiences, advice for the attendees, a Q&A session, and book signing for the entire CODET team.
