Ophthalmology Fellowships at CODET

Ophthalmology Fellowships at CODET

Preparing ophthalmology professionals since 1994

The prestigious CODET Fellowship program offers ophthalmologists an opportunity to earn a subspecialist degree while training in state-of-the-art facilities alongside leading vision care experts.

Apply to Fellowship

Dr. Arturo Chayet, founder of Tijuana-based CODET Vision Institute, introduced this medical fellowship program in 1994. Since then, the prestigious program has trained nearly 100+ ophthalmologists from Mexico, Latin America, the United States, and elsewhere.

The CODET Fellowship is open to doctors who have completed their residency in ophthalmology and seek to further their expertise in a subspecialty field such as:

  • 100+
    Fellows trained since inception
  • 1994
    Year of establishment
  • 1,000+
    Surgeries performed annually by Fellows

During their one- or two-year term fellowship, these doctors-in-training learn under the expert medical team at CODET. While here, fellows perform an extensive number of state-of-the-art procedures and gain hands-on experience with the most modern diagnostic equipment and devices, many of these technologies unique and exclusive to the CODET Vision Institute experience.

After graduation, our fellows bring CODET’s technology and level of care to vision care facilities across Latin America and beyond. And, sometimes, they join the surgical team at CODET.
