Pediatric Ophthalmology Q&A Session With Dr. Adriana Valdes

CODET’s Pediatric Ophthalmologist Answers Questions From Parents to Raise Awareness of the Importance of Taking Care of Children’s Visual Health.

In Mexico, Children’s Day is celebrated in April. This day is set aside to allow us to reflect on the importance of positive childhood experiences and respect for the children’s rights.

In honor of Children’s Day, Dr. Adriana Valdes, Director of the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Service at CODET Vision Institute, took a moment to answer questions that parents shared with us, stressing the importance of eye consultations and eye health care for children.

We received many different questions that addressed topics such as screen time in kids, nearsightedness and astigmatism, the importance of sunglasses, the difference between lazy eye and strabismus, and more.
