Senate of the Republic Grants Recognition to Dr. Irma Zamudio

Dr. Irma Zamudio of CODET Vision Institute was recognized by the Senate of the Republic for her outstanding commitment to the field of ophthalmology.

On November 30, the Senate of the Republic awarded recognitions to Former Presidents of the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology (SMO) for their outstanding work during their term.

Among the recognized doctors is Dr. Irma Zamudio, CODET’s Ophthalmologist, for her outstanding career, as well as her scientific and social commitment to the health of our country.

Dr. Irma Zamudio mentions the following regarding the recognition received:

“We are a living and vibrant society. Despite the pandemic we continue to work hard in the prevention of visual health. We were there for the patients, so it’s good that we were taken into account”.

The ceremony took place in the facilities of the Senate of the Republic, Mexico City, in the presence of Dr. José Ramón Enríquez Herrera, Senator of the Republic by the State of Durango and Dr. Jesús Jiménez Román, current President of the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology.
